With the second F1 winter test soon to begin in Barcelona, let’s take a look at pre-season testing!
(The rules are simple. You re-blog and rewrite the answers, getting rid of the old ones)
When did you begin to watch F1? 2008, the very last race. I’d been watching Bruno in occasional GP2 races that year and decided I’d try the bigger brother series ;) the last race was very exciting and I’m glad it was, because it made me want to watch the next season. Of course, I knew nothing about Felipe or Hamilton’s bid for the title, it was just exciting at the time.
Favourite driver? Now it looks unlikely Bruno will be in F1 next year I can say Seb, because I used to have to say both of them. Sebastian Vettel is the most wonderful champion this sport can have :) I love him to bits.
How Long Have You Supported This Driver? [and why] Since 2010. whelp, lots of reasons. He’s incredibly gracious, humble and thoughtful. He truly, truly understands the history of the sport and is clearly passionate about learning about racing legends, which I think has led him to be both a better person and driver. I love him because he hates to lose and that’s what gives him the fire he needs to win championships- his determination is quite stunning <3 His driving style is rather gorgeous and I love watching him race. F1 is lucky to have him.
Least Favourite Driver? I don’t really have one, because all the drivers on the grid have talent otherwise they wouldn’t be there. But I don’t like how Alonso acts within Ferrari and the way he treated other drivers in the past, sometimes he makes arrogant comments. I respect his amazing talent though, nothing against that.
Favourite Team? Red Bull Racing :) I adore the way they do things within the team, the respect they have for their employees and the dedication they give to engineering. they have pioneered systems like the modern double diffusers and many more besides. They really seem to get F1, and the respect it contains.
How Long Have You Supported This Team? Since 2010
Best Driver On The 2012 Grid? Alonso, in terms of pure talent. What he did with the car Ferrari gave him was incredible.
Most Deserved World Champion? I don’t really think any world champion is less deserving than any other :) if you win the championship (by fair means) then you deserve it, end of story.
Favourite Track? ooh I can never choose :c I’d like to say something like a real racer’s track like Spa (and I do love Spa) but if we’re talking about F1 only then I’ll have to pick Monaco. Nothing beats it in terms of glamour and occasion, people say that F1 is about the racing/overtaking but it is also about spectacle and Monaco is the best spectacle there is, in my opinion :)
Favourite Race? at the moment probably Brazil 2012 just because every time I watch it I remember the fear and huge emotional tide from the championship fight- everything I love about F1 in one race, overcoming hardship, hard work, learning from failure, good quality racing. also Malaysia 2012 was fabulous, with Bruno fighting his way up from the back to P6. Canada 2011 for obvious reasons ;)
Favourite Season? 2012. I think every season of F1 I’ve watched becomes my new favourite. Better engineering, new challenges :) first year of Bruno having a proper car and that was enjoyable. Seeing Seb overcome the difficulties he faced in the earlier part of the season was inspiring. I think it was his greatest championship so far.
Favourite Team Principle? Monisha Kaltenborn! She’s a fabulous lady, very inspiring to other hopeful lady engineers such as myself. She’s proved women can reach the top of the sport just as well as men can, she takes good care of her team and is really passionate about what she does.
Favourite BBCF1 Presenter? oof don’t. I can’t choose. DC, I think. DON’T MAKE ME CHOOSE
Have You Been To A Race? yes!
If So Which One[s]? Silverstone 2012! urgh it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, being able to see my boys race for the first time. It was amazing.
What Are You Most Looking Forward to about the 2013 season? keeping a closer eye on the engineering this year! can’t wait to see what the teams come up with that’s new.
Who Would You Like To See Win The 2013 WDC? Sebastian Vettel (or Jenson Button, I’m not as adamant Seb needs to win his fourth in a row, plenty of time for a forth/fifth etc ;) Jenson might not have many more years of WDC winning chances)
Bring on the new season!

Excuse you.
F1 is a sport. If you haven’t noticed, in EVERY SINGLE SPORT in the WORLD, people support their athletes because they are PROUD of where they come from. And athletes love it. Drivers love it. For one, I know Bruno is very proud to be representing Brazil. Jenson is very proud to be representing Britain. If you don’t want to support a driver because of their country of origin, that’s fine, support whoever you want, but at least recognise that a lot of people love supporting the drivers from their country and the drivers are proud of that.

i have a rabbit fetish tbh they’re soft and fuzzy like dildos kinda eh? eh?
LOL I shouldn’t let my friends onto my tumblr, sorry
