Now I have successfully calmed down enough to type sentences

BRUNOOOOO

URGH THIS WAS JUST FLAWLESS.

The Ferraris and the Astons looked pretty close at the start but the safety car messed up the 98’s race, coming out at the worst possible time for them. Still, they fought their way back up from P4, Bruno doing a fantastic double stint (which is not easy on a hot day at Spa, I can tell you). He cut the gap to P3 from 40 seconds down to 12, which is a staggering achievement.

Fred Makowiecki, one of the 2 other drivers in the #98, pulled off a brilliant last few laps to keep the other Ferrari at bay behind them- the gap across the chequered flag was just about one second. Over six hours, that is simply astoundingly competitive.

/in other news Hindhaugh mentioned me live on radiolemans no big deal omfg

In more other news I’M SO PROUD OF AUDI. URGH THAT PODIUM. 1-2-3 finish, could not have been more perfect! Really proud especially of Andre today who put some stunning laps in, and some brilliant overtaking. Real shame the #7 had the hybrid issues, would have been great to see them fight it out towards the end of the race.

THAT WAS SO FABULOUS

ONTO LE MANS I’m sooo excited :D

BRUNO SENNA ON POLE AT SPA

FOR THE SECOND TIME IN WEC

CRYING

asdlkjgjhgjfgh what a flawless two laps from him, they take the average over 4 laps from 2 drivers. he diD SO WELL I CAN’T

so so proud of him, he’s adjusting so well, it’s not easy to go from single seater half weight twice horsepower to GT

and Hindy, John, Nick and the other radiolemans crew approve of him as well :D Hindy said he was ‘very impressed’ which is basically an A+ approval rating in the world of sportscars

BASICALLY I’M SO PROUD AND SO EXCITED FOR THE RACE

ahhhhh

URGH this podium was too beautiful. The last time I saw him this happy, par Malaysia 2012, was Monaco in 2008. He was shaking hands with everyone (only driver to do so, might I add) and giving who I presume were his pitcrew/engineers the thumbs up like 1837874 times. When the champagne was finished (see picture above :p) he lifted his trophy and bottle up to the AMR crews and pointed. This is for you.

CAN WE JUST APPRECIATE THE HELL OUT OF ALL THIS

Aston Martin Racing celebrations, Silverstone 6h 2013

Posted: 1 month ago ● 20 notesReblog

These photos make me one of the happiest people on the planet; both because I was there to take them and because Bruno Senna is collecting a winner’s trophy. I support him because of his fantastic racing skill, his endless optimism and kindness, as well as his bravery and unwavering attitude of hope.

To see him so delighted, to see him back where he belongs makes everything feel worth it, all the bullshit, all the criticism and all the doubters. I really hope he’s found his place, or at least began to, in motorsport, and that he will be on this step many more times to come :) Wherever he is, we will support him forever.

Bruno Senna, pitlane, Silverstone 6h 2013

Did I mention? He was easily the most popular driver in the pitlane imo, the crowd of people around the 97 pitbox was incredible. Even the Audi camp had fewer autograph hunters- partly because Bruno was actually taking time to talk to people like me. <3

Bruno Senna, pitlane, Silverstone 6h 2013

I have waited five years to make this post. This is my favourite shot I’ve ever taken; yesterday I met Bruno Senna, and saw him on the top step of the podium for the his first time in years. I think I owe you guys a pretty (very) long post about my day at the Silverstone 6h! :)

quick summary of WEC so far

Bruno’s car had a small mechanical problem with the engine before FP1 so they spent FP1 replacing the engine in the #97 just as a precaution :) the session was quite wet so the team principal (John Gaw) said they weren’t missing much.

They should be out for FP2, which starts in 10 minutes.

Not being streamed live, but listen with the radiolemans team here- http://radiolemans.com/

WEC Spotter Guide: 6h of Silverstone 2013

I’m so excited I can barely breathe. Look at this fantastic lineup. Dream Team number 1 in the #1 Audi, I cannot wait to see my boys again! Toyota are scaring me but it’s the first race so whatever happens happens.

AND BRUNO OFC (#97 Aston). I can’t wait to see him drive, he deserves this so much after all his hard work in teams that don’t appreciate him. Really hope it goes well for AMR. Bring it on!

I need some help.

I’m so scared I don’t know what to do with myself.

I’ve wanted to meet Bruno Senna for like five years, ever since I first saw him, and I’ve thought about it so many times and I feel like it’s an actual life target of mine. Is this irrational? So many other fans who I’m friends with have talked about meeting him, either they have already or they want to, and ahhh my head is just exploding

Sunday. If all goes to plan and it’s not a) snowing or b) flooded, the pitlane will be open for autographs. and if he’s there, like all the drivers always are at the WEC, I’ll be walking down it. I’ll be able to walk right up to him and shake his hand.

I think this has only just began to sink into my tiny head

and i’m really scared and I shouldn’t be, I should be excited and hopeful. there are too many emotions going on and I don’t want them all. He’s just very important to me as a person and I don’t know how to deal with this
